First Coast Highlanders, welcomes Bob Simpson as the newly elected Pipe Major for 2019. Will Wheeler is stepping down to allow Bob to gain some very important leadership experience within FCH. Bob Simpson is not without leadership skills serving as Chief Petty Officer in the Navy, now retired. Bob has been playing pipes for the past nine years. He started his bagpipe playing with the Khedive Shrine Club in Norfolk, VA. The FCH looks forward to new musical leadership. WELCOME BOB
First Coast Highlanders Is continually looking for bagpipers and drummers to enjoy our fun. If you would like to learn how to play the bagpipes and/or drums come join us every Thursday evening. Also, find us at one of our events so we can shake your hand and personally invite you into the band.
Attend one of our fun practice sessions every Thursday evening starting a 5pm. We are located at Orange Park Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall, in Orange Park, FL
Happy Holidays - - With the Christmas Holidays and the New Year just around the corner, First Coast Highlanders will not have any performances for the rest of this year. Practices will be slim and will continue, be sure to check the calendar when we will be not practicing.

NE Florida Scottish Games and Festival ~ Feb. 23, 2019
Green Cove Springs, FL - We are honored to again be the Host Bagpipe and Drum Band for this long running event. Come enjoy all of the Scottish activities and great music throughout the day. Take part in your Scottish heritage at the Clay County Fairgrounds just outside Green Cove Spring, FL. on Route 16.
2019 marks the 24th Anniversary of the Games. Thanks to everyone for putting this event on your calendars and showing your pride in Scottish heritage and hospitality. Come check-in with the FCHs, shake our hands and say Hello February 23, 2019. We'll be there all day.
