            Boland Family Relief Fundraiser

FCH and PH               Scotland Party Pic

Scotland Boland, an employee of Pizza Hut and member of the First Coast Highlanders, and his family suffered a house fire last month.  Pizza Hut and the First Coast Highlanders are teaming up to raise money to help the family replace items lost in the fire, pay for medical bills, and find a permanent place to live.

Scotland has been an active member of the Clay County community.  He is a proud supporter of our military and veterans.  Scotland has played his bagpipes at events throughout Clay County.  He’s played at the NE Florida Highland Games, the Orange Park Historical Society Veteran’s Day event at Magnolia Park, as well as events for American Legion Post 250, Middleburg and Post 202 Keystone Heights.  In July Scotland will be joining the US Coast Guard.  Scotland is a wonderful boss to work for.  He is a hard worker and is always willing to pitch in to take care of our customers.

Please join us and purchase a pizza on June 29th. Mention Scotland and Pizza Hut will donate a percentage of the sale to the Relief Fund to help his family recover.  Donations can be made through this website.  Please mark your donation “Boland Family Relief Fund”

Art Tenney is doing well after his heart surgery.   Art is still in the hospital with a couple of  drain tubes in his chest.  Hoping to get those guys out soon.  Art appreciates your cards and visitation at the hospital.  If you have his cell phone number give him a call (if he hasn't called you first).  Keep Art and Sue in your prayers while he recovers.

With mixed emotions First Coast Highlanders has to say good-bye to Scotland Boland as he goes off to join the US Coast Guard.   It will only be for a short time until he returns home, maybe we can catch him for an event while he is home on leave.

The band and many of Scotland's friends will have a party for him on July 5th at 5:30, Golden Coral in Orange Park.  Come shake his hand, give him a hug and wish him well for a new career path that he is taking.
